CVMA Veterinary Student Scholarship Opportunities

The Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association is a local professional organization that aims to provide members of the Cincinnati veterinary community with continuing education, camaraderie, and community outreach. The association would like to offer current veterinary students from Ohio a scholarship opportunity, as well as the chance to become a part of our organization and the local veterinary community.

The CVMA Veterinary Student scholarship is open to current first-, second-, and third-year veterinary students who are from the Cincinnati tri-state area, or who are planning on moving to the area upon graduation. For each school year, one scholarship will be awarded to each a 1st-year student, a 2nd-year student, and a 3rd -year student. A current CVMA member or Cincinnati area veterinarian should be listed as a reference with the application. Previous award recipients (1st or 2nd year winners) are eligible to apply.

Each CVMA Vet Student Scholarship Recipient will receive:

• $1,200 scholarship award
• Complimentary CVMA first year membership after graduation and opportunity to run for board position in second year
• Opportunity to attend CVMA CE meetings or board meetings during your scholarship year (with advance notice)
• Subscription of the monthly electronic CVMA newsletter so you can stay abreast of things happening in the Cincinnati Veterinary community
